"SNOW IN MARCH" I did not believe it was snowing until my grandson came by to check on me then he opened the door and I could see it was snowing no wonder I was so cold glad i'm staying in today.
My hubby had his surgery Friday evening it took alot longer than we had expected they were doing the micro-scopic surgery but ran into trouble removing the gallbladder so they had to cut him open. The Dr said he had never seen a gallbladder the way this one looked plus it had attached itself to his organs and so it took about five hrs in surgery. The Dr said it was so hard to get undone he tore a hole in his tecticules so he had to mend that as well. Being COPD (having empheziema)in its last stage made it alot more serious of an operation. He quit breathing once and they had to place him on the ventalator. He finally got out of surgery and is breathing and off the ventalator. It's now a matter of time for healing and getting better. Although they have had to give him something through the IV for nutrients so that he can get stronger.
It's now Sunday and he still can't eat or keep anything down so their still feeding him through the IV' and they still have him on the machine to push the button when he needs more pain medicine. I thank everyone for their prayers God bless each and everyone of you.
Meanwhile I am dealing with getting my Diabetes under control and now that I have a Diabetic Dr, I am happy to say I pretty much have my B/G under control other than now going to "low" and having to get it back up! My next apt is 3/29/2011 I hope I've lost some weight and that my A1C has went down.
Everyone have a wonderful n' blessed day this Sunday afternoon.

The Diary of True Friends
The Diary Of True Friends:
If you have a true friend your blessed because anyone can say they have friends; but again I say if you have a true friend you are blessed because true friends are far and inbetween.
TRUE FRIENDS!
Listen to one another,
They soothe one another's heart's,
There always there ready to offer their help,
They never leave you in time's of trouble,
They are someone you can always count on for anything especially keeping thing's in confidence,
They are inspiring and most dear to one another, caring, and most of all loving with much respect for one another,
True friend's never talk about you behind your back but are grateful to you always,
The measure of a true friend cannot be measured,
They share their hearts, mind and souls with you openly and know they can trust that you will keep some things secret,
There's nothing like true friendship, it's like a rare gym, and has a special purpose in our live's and always grows...

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving 2010 is a special day with family n' friends. A day to make memories and a day to give thanks. God is a friend that will never leave or forsake you and all throughout the year he blesses each of us over n' over again!
Today, I want to set asside a time to spend with a special friend his name is Jesus and I am forever so thankful for all his many blessings.
I would like to thank you Lord for the memories I hold so dear to my heart of those who have gone ahead of me: my adorable Mother n' Dad whom I miss but who are forever in my heart. Mother was a strong willed woman who loved all her family and had a knowledage of what family really means. She put her family first and was the one who held it together through the years. Such a soft hearted woman who loved her God and always kept her Bible close at hand to spare a hour here and there throughout each day to place God in her daily life, reading, and meditating in the good-book. This was my mother a hard working woman who gave of herself to other's and placed God first in her life! She is the one who brought the family together come the holidays and in past Thanksgivings I still remember as if it were yesterday seeing her in the kitchen scurrying around fixing a feast for her family which ended in such a very large family of her own eight sibblings, 19-grandchildren, and 42 great grandchilfren and on and on the family grew to what it is today.
I thank you Lord for the traditions of my (mother) passed down ...
I thank you for my family today Lord of 4-grown children whom given me 14 of my own grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
And may everyone in the world have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with their families~

Fall of Festivals
The 1st day of fall' begins the 22nd day of Sept.
Fall is the Season I so favor with so many changes that occurs, the leaves turning colors, the weather turning cooler, along with the festival's we celebrate during it's Season, or anethnic heritage. The Kansas State Fair' could certainly be the Kansas festival for our State, and is the grandaddy of festivals. It's the focus of Hutchinson's festival that comes around once a year for ten-days. And I too; will mention the Kansas space museum, and salt mine.
The Kansas argiculture is another element of the fair, a celebration of Kansas, ...Hope to see you their at the fair in our pilgrimage State!

GONE FISHING
Date: 6-18-2010
Fishing sounds fun and relaxing this evening but, for now i'm in out of the heat. It's hOt out folks,it's about 98.* Early this am I went walking, and then came home and ate a small lunch and got everything written down on my "tracker" to keep track of my diabetes, glucose, A1c and what I eat. It was good after I got back from my walk, it was 128 two-hrs after breakfast. Hope its as good when I take it at 3:30 after what I had for lunch!
We have about 14, fish caught and cleaned for a fish-fry so wanted to catch a few more so we can have that fish fry!
Trying to get my "triglycerides" down, their high, so I have to stick with a low-fat diet. - Warning symptoms you must not ignor
- How to fight back-and win-against diabetes
- A weight-loss diet you can live with
- Important information about the use of natural supplements
-2Corinthians 10:5, says; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
I love how Don placed this in his book, "This is simply replacing your fears, worries, failures, grief, sorrows, and shame with God's promises. Reframing your thoughts in this way will lower your stress level and have a very real effect on your body.
...Thanks Don,
However... always talk with your doctor when taking anything new such as, herbs. Remember God wants you healthy, so take care of your health, and live a longer, healthier life.

SISTER'S
Sister's are for being there thru the good & the bad.
There is never a situation in life sister's won't administer comfort, love, laughter, and tears.
Sister's are protector's, listeners, and are forever friends~
_______________________________________
May 1st, 2010 my sister' my friend passed away. Unlike alot of sister's who grow up together, we were apart for the most of our life's for she was the oldest already married and out of the home when I came along. My mother told me thru the years how she had wanted a sister. But instead, I was raised with the older neices and nephews. In fact, it was her oldest son who was more like a brother to me being nine month's apart.
But thru the years and the miles between us we formed a sister relationship that brought us together closer than two sister's that had grew up together.
Oh of course there were the sister proms and we missed sharing in boy friends and etc; but for the most important part of our life's she was there for me, and I for her, especially when it concerned listening. We cried tears together, we shared one another's laughter, and there was never a situation we never administered comfort toward one another and the love we formed was forever a bond of sisterhood.
Forever, Sister's~
